Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Georgia public school in grades Kindergarten – 12th grade.
• Must have a demonstrated need of free hair care services that can be verified by a Georgia educator, social worker, or religious leader.

Application Requirements:

• (Authorized Referrer) Applicant’s employment information to confirm he or she meets one of our referral requirements as listed below:
  • Georgia Principal or Assistant Principal
  • Georgia Teacher or Paraprofessional
  • Georgia School Counselor
  • Georgia Social Worker
  • Georgia Pastor or Youth Pastor
• (Student) Proof of enrollment in a Georgia K-12 public school with one of the following documents:
  • An unofficial school transcript for the current academic year
  • A progress report or report card for the current academic year

Application Period: August 15th through April 15th for the open academic year.

Selection Process:

We will select a maximum of 50 students to receive our free hair services for the 2026-27 academic year. Once we have reached that threshold, we will add additional students to our program waitlist. Students are selected in the order in which their application has been received and approved.

Approval:

Once students are added to our program, their parents/guardians will be invited to book an appointment with us using a private link. Our monthly schedule availability varies, and all appointments are first-come, first-served. We only offer cleanse, condition, and braid styles for longevity purposes. Due to the high demand of our appointments with a limited availability, we do not allow appointments to be rescheduled under any circumstances. If a parent/guardian cannot attend their requested appointment within a 15-minute grace period, their appointment will be cancelled, and their student will be removed from our program. Once students are removed, other students on the waitlist are added.
